is this a low grade mono?

My fishes are off feeders. Earring mostly massivories, shrimp, talipia filets and worms. I want a bare bottom tank. I'll probably put a background, but I left my tank emtpy so it can get natural sunlight. My tank is next to my garage door.

he doesn't have the coloration usually associated with "high grade" bass, but i personally really like the shiny sheen on him

Breeders breed for quantity not quality. Quality breeds can select what male breeds with what female. Quantity breeders just throw them in a big pond and let them have at it. But, I don't know....don't really, personally, know any commercial pbass breeders.

i also got same in coloration but when i put out the light the alpha male display green red and yellow coloration..

i dont know much about mono;s but by the looks of it, the color is dull
