Rounded clear fins with barely any pattern, dark horizontal bars are all characteristics of females. Females get the wormlike lines on the face too but not to the extent of a male.
idk kind of looks like a CR male but it doesnt have a lot of dots unnder the lateral line and it is more yellow then blue. Its body shape says male but i'm not too sure. its still a bit small to develop trailors on his fins in my opinion but see if you can vent it
Just curious what stood out the most as to why all female remarks now that changed from male? Im actually excited that this could be female, to me I believe I can keep her a little more comfortable in a community. I still want to find a male

for me the broken bar down the side of the body bleeds towards the belly. the male loses this while the female does not. even at the size of yours, that bar bleeds. my guess would be a very nice female, but looks a lot like a male. my guess is based only on my ownpersonal experience.
I love this dovii, shes not really aggressive and has been growing in a community so far. Everyone here loves male doviis for their size and aggressiveness. But to be honest female doviis are very colorful and have a lot of personality too. I havent given them enough credit lately and ive been browsing through pics of members pairs and a lot of them look really nice.
