is this a pacu or silver dollar

does anyone know if this is a pacu or silver dollar? i have 4 of them that came with the tank but i can’t figure out what king of silver dollar it is and now i kind of think it’s a pacu, does anybody know for sure?

Looks like a metynnis altidorsalis (one of the common silver dollar species).

One of the biggest tells for pacu is the black on the tail that even juveniles have and a much fuller profile.

Definitely Metynnis maculatus. Not pacu.
M. altidorsalis wouldn’t be spotted, and in M. Lippincotianus the spots would be larger, eye-size.
Can see one male, the others are not shown complete. Do you want to keep them, or are you trying to rehome them?

sweet, thank you. looking to keep them since they’re silver dollars. if they were pacus i would have rehomed
