Is this a PBB?

That's why I'm fine with a Nigerian Lap. Most of them look nicer than PBB IMO. Of course, there are PBBs that put even the nicest Nigerian Laps to shame. I'm very picky when it comes to PBB. Needs to have a certain look to it. Some Nigerian Laps look identical to a PBB when its 20"+. Definitely underrated fish when it comes to Nigerian Laps.


I believe 16".

I count 13 finlets and at that size I would think the head would start looking like a pbb. BUT I honestly think that is the nicest nigerian lap I've ever seen. That lap looks nicer than my pbb

How big is this fish ?

It is 17 inches, but half of the tail still has to grow out, It was almost entirely bitten off during shipment.

Thanks Hao. I will not make a fuss about it towards where i bought it then. And like most say it looks very similar to a PBB.

That special prolonged tail, which is both long and slim from the anal fin is what i think looks like a special PBB trait?

Some guy on Facebook by the name Sam Koloton flooded a bunch of these preserved specimens on Facebook. They'e all from Ogawa Art Japan.
