Is this a problem with my pygos?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
It can take a shoal months to get situated in a new tank, ime leaving them be, without constantly fiddling with the tank, except for wc, will make the process quicker. Suprised no casualties. How's the pleco and bass?

The Pleco is a vampire. He says perfectly hidden under the dw all day until the lights go off. Afterwards, it sucking on everything it can get it's little sucker on without the shoal messing with it. Surprisingly as well the catfish is maintaining too. It still swims around without any concern and possibly thinks it is a part of the shoal! Cracks me up! Plus the 1 red tail tetra is still the fastest ninja in the tank.

Personally, i keep my shoal tanks almost bare. Its hard to fight for hiding places with no hiding places available.

I had it like that too but the dws make the tank look so beautiful. The fishes also enjoy it too so I don't mind. They are getting used to me constantly approaching the tank so I'm happy. Before they would scatter at lightning speed and scratch themselves so how but now they just swim slowly away. It's nice to see their behavior change even if it is at minimal pace.
