Is this a Red Head Tapajos?

Picked up what was labeled as a red head Tapajos today at my lfs. When I got it home I noticed the pattern on the tail fin looks different than my other Red heads. Is this one just not as mature maybe? Or did I get sold the wrong species? I would say it’s about 1.5-2”

Thank you, so based on that? Are you leaning towards mine being a red head? I’m leaning towards possibly an Altifron?

Tiny spot on the side and developing/emerging spots on the tail = altifrons.

I agree with neutrino , the developing spots on the tail make me think altifron

Any chance of a surnimese? I’ve never seen an Altifrons at a local shop but see surnimese pretty often

That’s a bit tougher now, Surinamensis in my opinion have a more pronounced side spot, yours has a very faint side spot, almost hardly noticeable until the last photo where it’s just a spec, so I’m still leaning towards an altifron but someone who knows better may be able to say for sure
