Is This A Rita Rita Catfish?

anyone know any information about this catfish?

Ok, all joking aside.

Rita rita get about 16" in the wild, pretty aggressive with their own, less with other fish. they are not fast growers, prefers cooler water, will eat anything. pretty rare, from India.

It's funny how fish shops acquire rare fish like this and have no idea what it is anyway great find! If you have a bag enough tank yo might as well keep it

I've kept them, some for years, and they're at about 14" tops. The one wild black one I've seen that was average big is about 15" or so. There is a larger specie called rita sacredotum from Thailand, that gets to 40 plus inches. These are all from personal accounts.

Plant catfish says 59 inches though, I believe you, but has anyone else own one of these?
