Thanks for the input, the only ones I'm unsure of now is the GS then.

I know the sex of the JD is Male as he has spawned with the Female!

They are yellow hook silver dollars, great fish but pretty skittish, I sometimes hear them banging in to the glass from downstairs!

salvini is 100% female. GS looks female to me. not that confident though

Hi I agree.. the sev is a rott (sometimes lately been called red shoulder or orange necktie and such) and the salvini is most likely female. The females usually are the ones that have the black spot sort of marking on their top fins... mine did as well and I know she was female. HTH Sue
