I went to the fish store I always go to, and there was someone i didnt know working today, I asked him how much for this fish and he looked and then he said 4 dollars, I am not even sure what it is. I thought it was a stingray or something, so I just bought it out of compulsion thinking I was getting a killer deal, can you tell me what this is? and if its not a stingray was it worth 4 dollars and 29 cents?

Thanks a lot, so I guess I paid the right price for this fish then I guess. maybe its worth a little more, I just read up on it, thanks for the name of this fish, now I know what I have. lol

Its a hillstream loach I believe, not sure if there are variations of them or not but a cool fish nonetheless...

hmm.. If this is what I think it is I think it grows to be about 3 inches tops, very active, get along with most small fish, suckermouth if I remember correctly and will feed on a variety of both veg and meaty foods. normal trop temp.

there will surely be more experienced keepers that will give you a better answer.
