Is this a trimac or low grade flowerhorn???

I don't need to look at the video to tell you Petsmart is selling flowerhorns and not trimacs. If it's too good to be true, it usually is.

You should look at the vid. I have two and his is WAY better than any petsmart "trimac" I have seen! The J.D. seems to not appreciate his arrival BTW lol Nice tank/fish No matter what they are! They are 100% F.H. But if I get one like his or snake eyes I would be happier than pie

well that is a very red flowerhorn. But you will probably have to take that guy out or give him his own tank, he will kill that JD and the green terror soon. They are aggressive when they are a little under 3 inches.

I mean just a heads up because I don't want you to wake up to a bunch of dead fish. I have seen flowerhorns in community tanks before, but its rare.

Def. a flowerhorn and as has been said a really sweet one too. Yes, he will kill everything when he gets some size. I recently bought a couple of petsmart "trimacs" but only because they really looked like trimacs to me. Should'a checked in MFK first. Sounds like there's no chance they are from what others have said . Here's what mine look like:
