Well, they have been for for almost a full day now. They don't even look like the same fish anymore. Attached are some new pictures for new thoughts! Lol, also the female ocasionally is swimming near the top is this normal? Never owned a pair before, it mostly seems like when I am near otherwise she swims around freely.

I honestly prefer that they are carpintis more interesting to me. Is it bizarre that there color changed so much? They were pretty much silver in the fish store here they are looking a greenish blue. Not quite escondido colored but not a bad coloring I'd say! They have been interesting so far definitely much more enjoyable then the mbuna I had.

They are spooked by me still but I hope this will change in time. They seem to be enjoying their new home more then the 20 tall they came from. Either way I am so glad I picked these fish up.

They scream Texas + to me. I own Texas, Escondido, & Vontehillo, though you think it could be a different Carp, I disagree. Though the head does look shaped funny which causes me to think that something else may be in there.

But again, buying from a LFS and not knowing true origin, this badgering back and forth between Texas and Carp, will never stop. Just enjoy them.

I agree 100%. It looks like a Cyano mix IMHO
Here's my Carpintis vontehillo.
