Is this an Armatus?

Thanks for all your replies guys! I really appreciate it.

The fish was purchased just last Monday (Aug. 30) and is around 6 inches including the tail. It's been eating quite well and very active at times.

I've attached more pictures which may definitely confirm that what I have is an Armatus.

ya the eye isnt big enough to be a tat, and the tail is the wrong color along with the adipose

Definetly Armatus at that size they're just more substantial than any of the other Payara's. Nice fish and Good Luck with him!
