I've been noticing these stringy-like transparent "worms" always hanging from my fish, but if my Oscar swims and moves around a lot, they just fall and float down to the bottom of the tank.

These stringy things don't move, and fall off pretty easily. Is it excess slime coat or is it a parasite thay has been making my fish sick?

I've been trying toget good pictures of it for some time now, and I will post some up. Please help me figure out what these are and what I should do to get rid of them.

I've raised the temperature to 85 degrees F, and will be adding AQ Salt later today. Should I pick out some medications for this?

It's a 75 Gallon tank with a Convict, Oscar. Severum, and a small pleco.

Thank you!

I cannot see. Do they act healthy and normal?

It's really hard to get a picture of it. My Oscar is currently on the bottom, and has been there for the past hour or so... I'll update this thread with more pictures if necessary.

The oscar does not look normal.

Try and put a liberal dose of salt in the tank.

Although the pictures are really hard to see (for the worms), it looks like it could be anchor worm. Here's a pic I found on google

I do not think so, because OP states they don't move and fall of easy whit merely the movement of the fish.
