I'm sure, because it's attached to the fish very well, and I've seen it more than once. They just fall to the ground after my fish swims fast/eats... And they just somehow keep reappearing.

Coppser will kill your bacteria off.

Give them a salt dip, prefereably. Do you know how to?

Copper safe will? I used the product for years and I never had to go through a cycle...

I don't know if I should use medications in my tank, because the cabon is built into the filter cartridges. Any solutions to this?

Also, the tank has been running for a long time now, maybe the cabon has wore off?

Take the carbon out. After a couple of weeks it puts back into the water all the noxious stuff it ook out....
