Hi,
its definitely not L002 Panaque species.

it looks to me like a young Peckoltia species L134 "Leopard frog".....or possibly Dekeyseria sp. (L052) "Butterfly Pleco" though because of the low profile I'd say L52 is more likely.

Cheers freakdaddy,anyone else ?

cheers steve

i have one the common name is chocolate pleco and he will only reach around 3 1/2 inches full grown and he likes meaty foods with some veggies very friendly i have had mine for over a year now and he is almost full grown they have great color.

in fact i have some pics of him in my album if you want to look

actually sorry its not a chocolate but a leopard frog pleco still stays small though and likes meaty foods:) i have to many plecos to keep track of lol

Common names get thrown around to many plecos. It's usually very difficult to know what some is talking about if they only use a common name (except L or LDA numbers)
