Is this an ok Malawi setup?

I cant see anyone not wanting those angels they are beautiful, but the redtail is very aggressive so you will have a hard time getting rid of him...run a post in the MFK classifieds maybe you will find someone there to take them...I gotta run one myself to give away my demasoni fry (60+) with 2 more females holding

I think it would be a great mbuna tank with all that rockwork!

I like the look of the rocks but not the tubing. Is that part of the filtration?

I'm interested if some fry if you're really giving them away. What part of Mass are you from?

Nah, they're not part of the filteration. I just thought it might help a bit with the hide-outs for the fish. I might get rid of them, since I've got a few more pots which I can put in instead.

P.S- if anyone in the UK wants the angels or the redtail black shark, or the plecos, PM me!

Cheers

If you want to do a hide out made from tubing try something like this, i made this myself and im not a very handy female lol. I took a simple elbow joint (pvc) from home depot, covered it in some GE 1 silicone and rolled it in the same sand mix as the tank. I let it cure for 24 hours (or just follow directions on silicone) it looks pretty good i think, as the fish grow you can make bigger and bigger ones.

I really like the look of the caves. How long did it take to make?

Yeh! They're real nice! I think I might just do that! I saw a tank with coconut shell caves in, and was thinking of giving it a go. What do you guys reckon? Will it cause probelms to the water?

The coconut shell will drop your PH. No good in an African tank.
