Is this Channa Pulchra?

agreed that looks like a pulchra to me,
these are ornatipinnis,i know because i bred them,hehe

notice these spots around the face,on the ornatipinnis there bigger and more...
I would reccomend you arranging the tank with lots of rock gravel/sand and coverage,
You will then notice a change in appearence as yours looks alittle stressed at present,

100% pulchra. My pair is between 25 and 30 cm and has loads of babys atm.
They dont car much about PH, but on Temperature and Water level and stream.
Dont feed them too much, like all subtropical channa they tend to get overfatted when kept too warm and being fed daily.
I kepp mine at room Temperature which in Germany is nit very high. The tank they are in stands on the floor and is the coldest of my 17 tanks. The Temperature in there is in summer 22°C to 24°C (when its very warm) in winter the temps can fall to 13°-15°C when i forget to close the window.
