Is this Channa Pulchra?

Just curious as to what you feed them? Pellets, feeders or?

Also, how to differentiate a male from female if I plan to breed them?

Hi,

if you want breediong channa, you bneed a group of youngsters to get the partners sorted out by the fish. Pulchra sexes are hard to impossible to tell apart from each others. Males often have higher dorsal fins.

I feed mine on pellest, insects,freswater prawn

Yeah,buy a group and let them sort themselves out,its not as simple as getting a male and female
