Is This CL Rare?

So true, that's why I love finding the big ones so much. My biggest goal in loach keeping is to see one die of old age.
 
Out of my 6 loaches, I can already tell that only 1 of them will surely wind up with that pattern. You can notice that the bars have a pale edging to them and there is the slighest degree of bar breaking at the top of the fish. This loach is 3.5-4".

next time you see a loach like this, keep an eye out for the faint edging on the bars and the trademark split at the top. With age, everything is emphasized.
 
i'd say that stripe pattern is very rare nice that loach is worth ALOT

get him some more loach friends and he will color up better for you
 
sorry, they are right. all the lines start to fade once it reaches a large size.
