You really dont want him to lose his eye if it is a parasite or something more serious.

agreed aquarium salt for a couple days if it does not heal throw in some hydrogen peroxide. sounds crazy but works well on the bacterial infections. one capfull per 5 gallons of water with water changes every 2-3 days. good luck!
