my 4 month old 7 inch tiger oscar is beginning to show signs of hith similar to your oscar. same water parameters, 40% water change every week since i got him in a 90 gallon, food soaked in liquid vitamins. somethingfishy is right...it just happens no matter how good you take care of your fish...bummer...just hope for the best

You might want to start by making sure the water quality is as perfect as can be, try and do a 50% water changes every 2-4 days to help, you also should add some aquarium salt (1 tablespoon per 5 gallons).
A good diet is essential(1/2 the amount given previously given), so make sure that the food you give is high quality.
Also raise the temp to around 82-86 this might help kill off the disease, and increase the speed of recovery.

I’ve been feeding it more with Hikari gold, krill and silver sides. Every other day the Hikari gold pellets are soaked with liquid vitamins and it seems like it is working. Water has been fine as usual.
