thats cruel and unneeded.

yes they may eat birds or mammals if they fall in the water in the wild, but its not something i would want to replicate at home. theres tons of better alternatives be it dead or even live that would be a better choice than any sort of mammal.

3 or 4 more pages
then somebody(i got an idea who) will come in and somebody(if it is who i think then me) will lose there temper with someone(he knows who) and it will get shut.
but it is a cool video but shouldnt be done often. once is enough. still considering feeding a mousce to my gars but afraid to risk my babys. prob wont do it.

You know it doesn't hurt to research the MFK archives for issues like this. This has been reposted for the umpteenth time and none has ever had happy endings. I wish I could give this a chance and I will give this topic one last chance. If the topic does not go any better, then I express dismay over the maturity of some members when attempting to put a controversial subject on the debate table.

I wouldn't do it, not practical, but I also don't find anything really wrong with it (don't find it all that cool either, its predator and prey in a small box afterall) aside from certain health concerns. I know this isn't going to be a popular opinion, but Just because its "cute" doesn't mean it has a more innate right to live then anything else.

Ducks are prey species for a number of predators, and anything baby is prime prey for any predatory species. sure, pellets are available, they MIGHT even be of better nutritional quality then live food, but I tend to think predatory species should be given the chance to be predators on occasion, forcing them to live solely on pellets might be almost as cruel as keeping them in a glass box and doesn't this site consistently preach variety of food? (I know I wouldn't want to eat scientifically determined recipe of stir fry with tofu every day for the rest of my life. might keep me alive, but I am not going to enjoy it) Anyone ever eat roast duck? fois gras? veal? suckling pig? Eggs? Over in many asian countries, that duck could have ended up on the menu for a dish in a fine restaurant that same day, in fact ending in an arro's mouth might have been a better fate then say a fois gras goose.

now, putting it on youtube? that was just dumb.

That's just like the videos on YT where the tank full of pirahna's attack a lone helpless GT, or oscar, or arowana. What is the sense in that?

i already talked with the guy he realized it was to big and cruel when it got in the water. He really did think it could get it down fast.

come one lupin
give it a chance....

please?
