Those are some nice lights, thanks for the link. I will get those next time or maybe if I set up another 10 g before then.

Or check the site...I thought thats what you were setting up. Pretty hard to beat the prices on any of the lights on that site.

those are some good prices on those lights. when i setup my lowtech 10g, i used this hampton bay lamp from home depot. costs about $20

Sweet. Just got a question though. When is it when you need to add in CO2? I'd like to keep it low tech and grow only easy plants. So super lights are not necessary for me. I basically only want to grow low light level plants because I dont really wanna go crazy and dip too much money into a set up.

check this thread out. just stay in the low to medium light categories and you should be ok. adding Flourish Excel is a great way to supplement carbon in a small tank. its cheap and gives great results

two T8 bulbs would work well on a 29. On my 10 gallon I use two clamp-on CFL fixtures.
