200k? lol Not really. The Coney Island Aquarium has several Sharks, plus large Turtles and a dinnertable-sized Roughtail Ray in a 90,000. The 70,000 "reef" (*cough*plastic*cough*) is about 70k. Having seen both I think the Shark would be able to survive in both. Obviously the former would be better though.

you think?
i wouldnt try it on, mate.

Bullsharks seem like they should not be in captivity... lol they're one of the few sharks that attack unprovoked.

i do agree that regardless of tank size, these sharks are one the least suitable "pet" fish to keep... but either way i'm sure there are at least a few people out there who must have a tank large enough to house a monster like this...

i thought they were illegal...

When you're selling a $2k fish, why not at least post a picture?

finally someone asks..... 2k is minimum bid btw. But I suppose if you got the cash for a suitable tank this would be one sweet deal for it. But even arapaimags tank is only 25% of the recommended size......

Good question, most fish that are listed on there have a picture provided.Oddly enough,my freshwater aquarium fish atlas by H.Axelrod has a picture of one in the Australian fish section.

Wait, can't bullsharks edit their osmeoregulatory system and therefore be kept in a FW tank? They go upstream into rivers in the wild. Anyone know anything about this?

I think they breed in freshwater and the pups hide there untill they grow some size.I dont know if they can remain in fresh for their lifespan.
