Is this good filter media?

i hear cockateils actually have 4x the surface area of ceramic rings. i always try to run atleast 4 per filter.

lol. So that's my problem. I have only been running one per filter. Time to throw a couple more in there.



I am sure the smell of the cockatiel in the water was driving my jardini nuts. Hopefully there is no chance for any diseases to enter the tank.
