The Rat is not a treat! Do not feed it, your Oscar will probably choke. The shrimp that you bought is going to fall to tiny pieces so I doubt your Oscar will even bother, that's better for little brine, bottom dwellers.

Feed a whole lot of different types of fish food, plenty of water chances, and a big a tank as you can get.

High water quality and pellet is the best foundation.
Start there and you should see results pretty quickly.
