have you kept rays? A ray without food for 2 weeks can be considered a dead ray.

no, i was just going on general fish knowledge. if rally says that, then that's who you should listen to, ttpeter.

well i know some fish can go longer with out food then others

but from the looks of it hes doing much much better then yesteerday i will try feeding him today and if he dosnt eat today i will do a 20% water change and try later on tonight ,

i did aroady 3 water changes around 10% since this happand

I have had the prevlige to go and see and work on the 50,000 gallon tank that is here and mike was saying that rays once established in your tank can go for a week with out being fed, but I would think that if it is injured I would keep trying. Maybe get some ghost shrimps in there and keep up on the water changes that way you can give the ray a chance to eat at its leasure, plus you can keep note of the stock in there.

hey , yes iam in milton, go to big als in okaville which is like 15 min pas milton thowards the lake and they have rays there they have 2 motoros at 149.99 and teacups for 59.99

thats where i got mine , i paid 80 due to Connections

well he nibbled abit on smelt like a bit nothing much, i think iam gonna pick up some shrimp tmdw and try feeding him that , then if that dosnt work dew worms, but hes interested in eating and its a good sign , before he didnt even go for it

thats what it is like now and its gonna leave a nasty scar
he un active but i bet hes just resting,

also dr_sudz where in milton where u located and that u saw the moster tank being biult it much be not far where is this guy biulding this tank?

your right the dent between the eyes shows he was not getting enought food for months before the heater burn

i know when i boguht it the store said they got them they had probelms getting them too eat and 2 from the batch died , for some reason , and didnt eat much for some reason, but when i got it within hours he ate,

also he hasnt eating with 3 days just nibbles

i feed him as much as he can stuff dont he little body,
