so whiled watching my ebjd recruit i noticed some white spots all over that appear to be ich, if it is ich how do you reccomend i treat?

Yes ich also Your jd looks stressed and belly is sunken in. You will need the treat the whole tank for ich, But if you have another tank I would move the jack and treat separately. It looks like it may need some extra attention anyway, and if so you can take better care of it alone and make sure he doesn’t have to compete. It may also reduce some stress from other fish.
If he is already alone just disregard.

This fish looks very stressed. I would use Paraguard.
Heat-resistant Ich variant is becoming more and more common.
