Is this normal????

As i mentioned in another thread my Brandti seems to be filling out(Thicking up) is this normal.When i got him in Jan. he was about 4 inches now he is about 5 and a half inches.When these guys grow do they fill out like Rhoms,i ask because i have never seen a pic of a full grown Brandti,i understand that they can get to about 10 inches.Also will his nervousness and skittishness subside over time???Any help is really appreciated!!!

That is great growth out of your Brandtii. You must be foing somthing right. Mine has not grown too much but is THICK and is about 6" long.

If your fish is in a high traffic area of your home and always around people he will slowly come around.

Ya good job on the Brandti, I have also noticed that they start to thicken up more as they grow longer.

I have to admit,my Brandti is probably the most boring fish i have ever owned(during the day)but at night he is a maniac!!If i put any other fish(live feeder) in his tank all youi hear at night are thuds and crashes,he is for sure a predator!!!
