looks fine to me. my silver is about 10-11" and a monster!! also have a 10 inch florida gar, the days i do waterchange i starve my fish out and my gar gets nippy and bites my aros fins. they get split like yours but a little worse, and heal up a couple of days later.

but he doesnt get chased around by anyother fish, its just him and a birchir and the birchir just sits at the bottom doing nothing, so idk what it is.

My Aro had a nick on its tail which became, what looked like, fin rot. It also chased its tail as if it was in slight pain. Clean water and some salt cured it quickly.

okay, doing water change this weekend and hopefully it gets better within acouple of weeks.
