Looks to be a male too btw. As far as price goes, I think I paid from rapps when I got my wild one a while back something around 60 for I wanna say it was at least 7". So I mean its not a terrible price for a fish that is seldom sold in lfs. I don't think I've ever seen them at my lfs.

Seems pricey to me. Not sure how shipping works to Canada but you should check out a store called That Fish Place in Lancaster Pa. They have a shipping business as well as a retail store and last time I was there they were selling these guys for 10 bucks or something. Assuming shipping was about 50 bucks you could get a 3 for 1 thing going on. The place is huge and they have top notch fish and service. Good luck either way.
The fish is about a half n hour away from me so I don't have to worry about shipping so that is a plus in this situation. I looked at some more pics of it and I agree that it looks more like it's around the 6-7 inch mark. I absolutely love the parachromis genus and so to have the opportunity to grab a motaguensis locally....I'm psyched about it and I'm not going to worry about over paying by $20 considering that I don't have to pay shipping and other fees that would be related to having one shipped from the States.
