Im confuses now my female gt's tube is way different its a lot thicker..... Im pretty sure females dont have pointy tubes and anyways tey are the same sex because both tubes are the same on the midas and xiloanesis... Im pretyy sure there would be eggs by now they have been doinf this for 3 weeks now...

The tube on that fish looks female to me, too. Besides, most male fish only show their tube right before spawning. Females will show theirs for a few days leading up to it. How long has the tube been down? I'm guessing female.

About 3 weeks.... They both have the same tube... There is no difference....so they are either both female or both male...

Is it possible the eggs got eaten? In my experience all my males have eaten the eggs the first time they spawned.

While you can vent them at that size accurately, its much easier at larger sizes. I wouldn't base CA tubes off SA tubes, its possible they are a bit different.

Lol...... Im oretty sure they are the same sex rapps vented them and i vented them..... For some reason the midas lost its hump and seems to be playing the girls role.....

Koks or "nuchal hump" will shrink during breeding.
