Is this red colour real or photoshop

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
it could be enhanced by red colored lighting. if you look at the surface of the water theres a pinkish hue which would incidate colored lighting is being used. either way i love the body shape and fan tail on that badboy.

the saturation is just turned up on the camera.

Yep, looks like a lighting/camera trick to me.

I think you should be careful. I know the trademark owner and he may not take too kindly to you posting one of his photos, and probably without his consent, and calling it a fake.

its not about accusing, its about information and learning.

yes,, its someones photos but i guess he is tryign to find out the viability of such a read arowana.

i have seen harvesting videos and i have seen arowanas in those videos almost , maybe even that red, and that saturation, outside in the sun.

but yes i agree, i can see a tannign light on the water light reflecting back.
tanning lights are fake.

but in saying that the rest of the body isnt a pinkish red colour. so possible that it is real, just from the pond taken into a tank.

ihave seen this done for photography purposes.

I say it's more lighting than camera/processing tricks.
