Is this Sand safe?

Hi Guys i am new to ray keeping.

wanted to actually have aros in my tank but i cant help but notice how beautiful rays are.

right now i have already set up the tank with this black crystal sand which is a home brand of a LFS in my country. i googled about but am still slightly confuse about the different kind of sand.

May i know if this will be safe for rays?

Tbh never heard of that brand of gravel and sand. If the sand is smooth so it won't irritate the rays underside and gills then it will be safe substrate.

how smooth is required though? i think each grain size is roughly about 1-2mm

Sounds like it’s okay as long it doesn’t irritate the ray

Just use pool filter silica sand my rays have been on for 15 years breed on it Barry in it np plus it's alot cheaper if u don't mine white with black flecks.
