If i did as you suggest the warranty would be voided. This is a rimless tank. Your is not a rimless tank. Mine has a trim around the bottom to protect the lass from chips etc. Your tank is set up properly because of its design. You did an excellent job. Thanks for the detailed response......but i cannot set mine up as yours.

Sounds good. I couldn't tell if your tank had a floating glass bottom like most tanks with a bottom trim. Foam should be good with the chip on the corner though.
