It is something that based on where you live can really determine what is considered a good deal. I was thinking for that price there were definitely better deals to be had, but I guess not.
I've been searching KSL and Craigslist for about a year for a 180, and for $400, the one I got was the cheapest one in the state that I've seen so far. I looked at a 180 in my area a few months ago with a stand for $475, but the tank was in much rougher shape, and I didn't like the stand. It is something that based on where you live can really determine what is considered a good deal. How is it a bad deal? I have also been watching craigslist for 180 gallon tanks in Las Vegas and Denver, and the tank I got was a good deal compared to the other tanks I've seen. Also the tank I got was pretty close to where I live, I would rather pay $50 or $100 more for a tank locally than have to drive several hundred miles to pick one up out of state.Honestly that's kind of a bad deal for something on Craigslist but you bought it so enjoy it.
Oh wow where I am at you can get a used 180 for like 150 dollars or less. With overflows like 200
