Is this tank worth the money?

I paid $500 for my 180g with corner overflows, glass tops, lighting, stand, heaters, HUGE sump, pump, and all the plumbing. Just be patient and a proper deal will come up.

at petsmart, they have a 125 setup (glass) tank, stand gravel, heater, lid, light...

$700.00.

IMO it is overpriced. I'm sure you could find something better if you did some more looking around.

My rule of thumb for a used tank is a dollar a gallon. And if you dont trust the stand dont use it. I would say fair price for all this would be around 300 dollars.

I got my 100G acrylic 5 footer for $396 new...... a five foot tank would be better, but it depends on what you want to stock. Is it for the fish in your avatar?

$1 a gallon is very hard to find when you talk acrylic.

I have a chance to buy a 4x2x2 about 120 gallons comes with wet dry filter and pump it also includes a stand but i have little faith in the structure of it so it has to be replaced. They want 600.00 dollars is that a good price or not?

Price is all relative. In some areas you can get tanks for a steal, and in others expect to pay an arm and a leg. My rule of thumb for a tank that is acrylic with sump and overflows is 50% of retail value.
