IS THIS THE START OF ALGAE BUILD UP?

i noticed that i had a considerible amount of it when i had java moss on top of one of my pieces of driftwood. cause the moss was looking like it have the same stuff all over it. so i took out the moss and now i dont get it anymore. it's grayish hairs and you can see it move with the current right?

all i can say is what i noticed it was from... but i also had my carbon out at the time too.

or try this too... after i wiped the tank i used water clerifier, i did that for 2 days and then i did a gravel siphoning too. but i only did it cause it needed it not to get anything out. either way that would be the easiest way to get rid of most of it cause they will all just go down in with the gravel from the clearifier.

a big water change and they go away immediately and won't come back... until you need another water change.

its just a friendly reminder you are being lazy with the water changes lol

yeah i just did a 100% water change over the night reboiled all my rocks and driftwood so i guess we'll see WHAT HAPPENSSS
