I just got a 30" Current Satellite 2x65w w/LED moonlights. Got it for $110. from my LFS. He couldn't move it. Worked out great for me.

Thats awesome, buys like that are the only way I stay in the hobby.

thats why this hobby is what it is. people pass on stuff to those who cant afford it and it keeps every one humble.

Got my first whole setup for $150...its a great story, but it has been posted too often for me to want to do it again.

Only way I could have gotten into the salt game as a 12 year old.

Needless to say many years and thousands of dollars have been spent since however.

I think if you had ended getting the MH one, it would work if you were able to suspend it over the tank and then adjust it from there.
