Is this too much sunlight for my baby p's?

Yeah just hold your frozen bloodworms or brine shrimp in your fingers real calm & wait for em to eat it out of your hand. After couple times they'll see you coming & rise on their own. Gets them eating everything doing this & your fish will be much calmer later on when they're juvies & adults.

I put up a few handfeeding videos (babies-adults)on You-tube a few days ago. Search my username 3rd & 4th page.

Time will take care of skittish behavior also seeing you and movement outside the tank will get them out of this skittish stage. Red Bellies are more skittish then the other pygo's from my experience, especially if they are captive bred;)

on a side note rescApe your tank and put a BACKGROUND

I disagree with time will fix the skittishness. Handfeeding will make em calm. Waiting for them to just become calm will have you waiting for something that probably won't happen. If you want them calm quit playing their game & make them play yours.

will do! still hand feeding them, seems like they are starting to come out now, since they know im feeding them haha
