ive got 2 30 gallon filters on my 29 gallon tank because one was given to me and it seems to be a little to much for the tank the top of the water isnt very calm but my tank has one small angel that seems to be swimming around with not much of a problem

should i just stick with one filter or is this ok??

Depends, if the fish struggling to swim, then take off the filter. If everything is alright, leave it. ;) There is no such thing as "Too much filtration. :) Two filters are better than one.

hmm and it does kinda seem to be okay tho but i just put him in the tank and he isnt very active yet but i have a Ph meter on the inside of the tank that looks like its getting sucked into a tornado or somthing and its about a foot and 4 inches away

If you feel that its bothering you, then I suggest taking out the other filter if you feel thats its too powerful. The fish's safety is always a priority. :)

yeah i agree and thats what im prolly going to do
im just going to keep one as a backup filter

If you have just one Angel, then it would be a bit much, but depending on the stock list...

well i just set the tank up and my girlfriend randomly got it and put it in there lol thats why its the only thing in there

i was planning on getting an oscar and a dempsey or somthing like that tho

An oscar and a dempsey wouldn't be a good idea for the 29. It could be a growout, until they start putting on some size. Minimum tank should be atleast a 55 gallon.

well i have a 55 that they are going to go in once they get bigger but im just wanting to know about the filter power

That's good to hear that they will be moved to the 55. :) What kind of filters are you using?
