it stays at the top for ease of breathing...put some floating plant for it to rest in...when it is bigger it will go to the bottom...

ya mine is a baby it hasnt even developed its side fins it looks lik a snake with barbels haha

yeah floating plants will really help it settle in and feel more comfortable.

thats how my ornate looked like...it was in with some tankmates at the lfs that ate all its fins off...it is now regrowing them well...
