Is this UV Sterilizer any good?...

Petsmart has these 24 watt UV Sterilizers for $49.99. Are they any good? Has anyone used them?

Why do you want/need one?

I want and need one so I don't have to go through another ich outbreak (or any other parasites) in my big CA/SA predator community tank. In other words, I want to kill any harmful mocroorganisms floating in my fishes' water.

So, is it any good? The price sure seems right, but that makes me a little suspicious.

I have no personal experience with this product, but after reading the reviews I would buy it. I noticed one said that it gets hot and you should only run it a few hours a day, I suppose I would get a timer for it. Best of luck.

Not neccessarily, I'm just weighing all options available. I'm still interested in yours. If you have another buyer, by all means, have at it.
