Hi please let me know whether is this venustus or Livingstoni cichlid?Also guess whether it is male or female.

The body shape looks like a livingstoni.
Although the pattern on the body looks a bit strange. The vertical spots normaly occur in venustus and rarely in livingsoni.

Here are some shots of livingstoni to compare, juvie to adult coloration.
above at only an inch, below about 3"
Below about 5", just beginning to change to adult coloration
Below at 6 =7" males in full blue
and below blue male with an adult female and Tilapia as target tank mates
