Not my fish sadly, got the pics from Google lol. I used to have a male and female venustus a few years back but they ended up passing away. The male killed the female and the male got torn apart by the mbuna I had at the time.

Feel sorry for you!! Yes you are right I have a Adult male venustus and showing high aggression even towards Oscar. Just tried keeping him with the equal sized Oscar but he is just beating him up.

Lol Oscars imo are a bunch of wusses honestly. Ya may end up with one that's overly aggressive but atleast 80% of Oscars won't even defend themselves. I've had 6+ Oscars so far (can't remember the exact number) but out of all of them I only had 1 that was aggressive. The others were all very lay back kind of fish and just rolled with the punches, lol almost literally too.
