I arranged to go collect at 9pm. But before i arrived, the seller msg me saying another buyer placed a deposit already... Imo i dont think that is a good way of doing business since i contacted him first and made an arrangement already. But to each his own, he has his own selling principles.
I'd make a huge stink over that until he finally either caved and gave the fish to me as agreed, or gave me some sort of store discount. It helps if you make a lot of noise when other customers are there. Preferably at their peak times.
Its another hobbyist selling. Oh well no use crying over spilled (sold) milk. Guess i'll just continue searching then.
I sometimes also sell my fish when i need cash to buy something else. Reserves does not mean much, as their are lots of occations when somebody asked for your item to be reserved for him, then takes it back for some reason.
It always boils down to first come first serve basis, specially for high demand items. Unless you have a good relationship with that person and you know he keeps his words, but between strangers money talks first.
thats why as much as possible, i try to have friends with my local suppliers, you can pre-order stuff, and have something reserved with no risk of him telling you someone got it first, or paid it first, or suddenly went out of stick when you arrived.

If the picture is from photobucket, I thought anyone could use those pics, as long as we don't claim it as our own when it's not or as long as we don't try to make $$$ from it ?.......Anyway, Spiritofthesoul said there were three of these 'moke', ....and if the person who's breeding them will only need two after the fish 'partner up' right? Maybe Spiritofthesoul could buy the unmatched one at some point? Just a suggestion from a noob,
