$50 sounds right. Here in Miami small LFS are unbelievably greedy tho, anything big they wanna charge you hundreds of bucks for it. Believe it or not I saw an 8" Mayan once for like $200 (labeled as "Blue Cichlid" ) and a 9" Flowerhorn for $230 lol... both looked like crap. Almost bought a 4" Severum for like $70 too when I started keeping Cichlids and didn't know better. Now I buy all my fish online and go there every now and then to laugh at their crazy attempts to rip people off.

only 15 to 25 here. Large fish prices have plummeted here no one is buying them or LFS taking them in all that much for that matter.
