I think the gravel would ruin the blade long before the goldfish was killed.. so yes, deffinately wrong if your trying to make fish soup.

take out the gravel and add more fish, its going to be too watered-down to get any good flavor out of it, besides the fact that goldfish dont taste good anyhow
