Is your Jardini skittish?

I voted "HELL YES!" because he is VERY skittish...but that is to be expected with a Jardini.

I've tried a million combinations and nothing has worked 100%. I found that if I turn the room lights on first, leave them on for a few minutes and then turn my tank lights on he doesn't smash into everything like he used to.

If I cast a shadow on the tank (which is very easy when you're 6'3") forget it...all hell breaks loose and then everything else in the tank is flipping out because the Jar turns into a battering ram. I'm actually setting up a tank for just him because he's going to hurt himself or another tankmate if he keeps this up.

if jars have heaps of room and places to hide, with medium lighting they wont be very skittish at all...however if there's no where for it to hide with bright lighting it'll hit the cover glass all the time hehe

my Jar is about 7-8"s now and still hella skittish. i gotta move slow around the tank or else he'll get a freak out! lol
