I remember a sunny hot day and I went to see deep impact. After I came out it was very cloudy and cooler with a smoky smell. I was like what the heck? Turned out there were fires in Mexico and the smoke made it's way up here.What movie did you watch......ICE AGE by any chance!!!!

This was how much snow fell in one night. It was sunny the day before. It took me an hour to dig my truck out so I could leave in the morning.
Because it was raining for about an hour before it started to freeze, some of the roads weee crazy.
This is not a bus stop by the way!! Just down the street from my house.
Having grown up in the frigid north I can feel for you Matthew, but I certainly don't miss that (though I have had to cut down on water changes due to being hot/dry season on the island and we also had a 4-hr power outage the other day due to a vehicular accident in the area). Drive safely out there and about the air pump batteries don't forget the Boyscout's motto 
Ya so funny. Lived here 2 years and literally was just looking at that design. It’s to avoid windows and still collect from the deck canopy.

We can have some serious weather fluctuations here. -30 in the winter then +10 next day with a chinook. We are so close to the mountains we get chinooks that make winter slightly bearable, but unfortunately messes with any out door skating.
